How long have you been with VSi? 9 months
Name one project you are currently working on and explain its intended purpose once complete.Currently I’m working on the Iowa Public Radio (IPR) new website. One goal for this website is to provide an updated look and feel from their old site. We are working together with ZLRIGNITION to integrate their design concepts into a new web system. We are also developing tools for IPR to easily maintain the site for their programs, staying up-to-date with the DJ’s info and events hosted by IPR. The new Iowa Public Radio site will be much more user-friendly and interactive. I am very excited to work on this project and can’t wait to see how well this new website will work for them.
Share a favorite hobby or weekend activity. I spend most of my free time rowing/coxing (yelling out commands to steer the boat) 2 or 3 times a week for the Des Moines Rowing Club. It’s very relaxing rowing down the Des Moines River while enjoying the great scenery. I have also recently joined the Downtown Kosama workout program (along with 5 other coworkers), and we are currently on week 8 of 10. They push us pretty hard, but I enjoy the workout and have already signed up for their six month alumni program.
