Visionary teams up with Iowa Energy for blood drive
Visionary Services will be court-side at Wells Fargo Arena this Saturday, March 29, for the Iowa Energy’s Hoops for the Cure night in conjunction with the LifeServe Blood Center blood drive.
The first 150 blood donors that attend the game will receive a variety of complimentary items from the Iowa Energy, including a goodie bag containing a coupon valued at $250 to be put toward a Visionary website. The back of the promo card will also define an array of popular tech terms that many may have heard before but don’t fully understand.
It’s all part of our new initiative to inform current clients, potential clients, and the general public about the web; how to leverage it to boost business, increase site traffic, self-promote, or better yet, all three.
“In the past, the coupons have just advertised free hosting for new clients,” said Project Lead, Jamie Bailey, who is managing the Visionary’s marketing presence at this year’s event. “We know what hosting is, but does the average person – especially the older generation? Or would they respond better to $250 off? To me this sounds a little more enticing.”
Another enticing element Bailey has planned for the Visionary booth is letting donors get acquainted with Visionary’s content management framework, Site OnCall, via friendly competition.
Similarly, a computer, an iPad, and a smart phone will be on hand to help educate people on responsive design, a relatively new web design process that allows the visual structure of a website to attractively fit onto various screen sizes.
Snacks and free Visionary t-shirts will be available while supplies last. Everyone who donates blood after the first 150 still receive a ticket to the game from the Iowa Energy. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
