Hey there! I'm Gracie Grandberg, a central Iowa native deeply immersed in pursuing an education in graphic design, visual communications, and user interface and experience. Alongside significant other, Alex, and our cherished cats, Hotch and Bean, we've chosen to put down roots here, surrounded by family and friends.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, you'll often find me engrossed in video games, digital illustration, or indulging my creative side with various arts and crafts projects. Weekends are reserved for epic Dungeons & Dragons sessions with friends, adding a fantastical touch to my downtime.
What have you enjoyed about Visionary so far?
One of the standout aspects of my experience at Visionary has been the incredible team I get to work with – they're not just knowledgeable but also incredibly positive and supportive. It's a real privilege to be a part of such a dynamic and uplifting environment.
What is your favorite place to eat in Des Moines?
When it comes to dining in Des Moines, Miyabi 9 holds a special place in my heart. Their fresh and delicious dishes, like tonkatsu with a side of miso soup, always hit the spot. You'll often catch me there, savoring every bite and enjoying the ambiance.
What is your favorite season and why?
Springtime holds my heart as my favorite season. There's something magical about the world coming back to life, bursting with vibrant colors and new beginnings. Plus, nothing quite matches the exhilaration of a spring thunderstorm.
What is the best book or blog you’ve read lately?
While I may not be much of a reader, I'm captivated by podcasts, particularly the "MrBallen Podcast: Strange, Dark, & Mysterious" series. It's the perfect blend of intrigue and storytelling that keeps me hooked.
What is something you could not go one day without?
Coffee is my daily essential – that first sip in the morning is like a little moment of bliss.

What are you loving at the moment?
Currently, I'm fully immersed in PC gaming, particularly engrossed in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Dragon's Dogma 2. It's a delightful escape that I'm thoroughly enjoying.
