Des Moines Bolt Launches Intranet System

Des Moines Bolt recently launched an intranet system to improve their company efficiencies and decrease paperwork by moving key processes to an electronic format. The intranet site houses one location for many internal forms for easy access. This also helps ensure the correct version of the form is being used across all departments.

Visionary also developed database applications for two of their most widely-used forms, which requires processing through several departments within Des Moines Bolt. The new system allows employees to complete their "section" online, with an automated notification emailed to the next department when an electronic form is ready for review.

With the success of this project, Des Moines Bolt plans on additional intranet enhancements in the coming months to continue streamlining their internal processes.
