Jammie grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota, home of the world's only Corn Palace. She graduated high school in January 1998, when she was 17, and went to technical college at DeVry in Kansas City for Business Information Technology. She received her Bachelor’s degree for Business Administration and minored in Information Technology in 2001. In 2001, she moved to Colorado Springs and worked for FrontRange Solutions for several years. She worked in Sales, Operations, Fulfillment, Accounting and Licensing for their CRM and Call Logging software products.
She moved to Seattle, Washington, in 2005, where she worked for Amazon in Sales Operations and maintained lead generation and system administration for several Sales departments. In 2007 she moved back to the Midwest, careful to choose a city where the culture was rich in art and music. She chose Des Moines, Iowa. Shortly after moving to Des Moines, she landed a job at Visionary Services as a Project Manager - Business Systems and Process Analyst. She found passion in the Project Management career field and in 2011 obtained her PMP Certification. In 2013, Jammie married Ryan Hoffman and later that year had their first son, Milo. In 2016, she had their second son, Dylan. Shortly after, she obtained her ScrumMaster Certification and went through Agile software development training.
In 2015, she was promoted to a Lead Project Manager and manages a group of talented people. Away from work, she enjoys rock concerts, traveling abroad and within the U.S. as well as spending quality time with family and friends.
