Get To Know: Summer Intern Mark O'Meara

Mark grew up in Indianola Iowa where he graduated High School. He’s currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at Iowa State and finished his Sophomore year this May and will return for his Junior year this coming August.
Visionary is his first Software Engineering related job but he’s also worked for the Indianola Parks and Recreation Department since his Junior year of High School and continues to help them out on the weekends.
His main focus points at Visionary surround expanding his knowledge of PHP and HTML while gaining valuable experience of what real-world Software Development careers entail.
When he isn’t at the office, Mark loves to watch videos and streams on both YouTube and Twitch. He loves to play board games and video games – particularly strategy focused games like Hearthstone and Risk.
